The renowned entertainment entity seemingly, whether intentionally or inadvertently, referred to the Afrobeats luminary Wizkid as an emerging artist in the industry.

During an interactive Instagram session, the Grammys posed a question to its followers, inquiring about the next "up and coming black artist everyone should have on their radar." Collating a plethora of responses from their extensive follower base, they singled out Wizkid and Rema as noteworthy mentions.

In a momentous achievement, the Nigerian superstar secured his inaugural Grammy Award for his collaborative effort with BeyoncΓ© and Blue Ivy on the track "Brown Skin Girl." The announcement took place at the Premiere Ceremony of the 63rd GRAMMY Awards.

The aforementioned track, "Brown Skin Girl," is featured on the 2019 album titled "The Lion King."

This triumph also marks the first Grammy Award for BeyoncΓ©'s daughter, which she will share with the video director, Jenn Nkiru, who helmed the captivating visuals.

As delineated on the official Grammy website, the Best Music Video accolade is presented to the artist, video director, and video producer.
