Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Struggles with Kanye West and Reveals Decision to Step Back from being his "Clean-Up Crew"

In a heartfelt revelation, Kim Kardashian sheds light on her tumultuous relationship with ex-husband Kanye West, candidly expressing her exhaustion as his constant "clean-up crew." 

She confesses that whenever Kanye made headlines or engaged in unusual behavior, she would discreetly reach out to his friends, hoping they would offer him a second chance.


However, Kim discloses that after their separation, she made a difficult choice—to let Kanye face his own demons and hit rock bottom without her intervention. This revealing account comes to light in the latest episode of Hulu's The Kardashians.


Kim, 42, and Kanye, 45, embarked on their relationship in October 2012, leading to an engagement in October 2013 and their subsequent marriage in May 2014. However, their journey together ended when Kim filed for divorce in 2022.


The former couple shares four children—North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm. In a heart-to-heart conversation with her mother, Kris Jenner, Kim discloses the toll she felt from constantly playing the role of Kanye's "clean-up crew" whenever he acted out.

The episode picks up from where the Season 3 premiere left off, capturing Kim in tears as she discusses her divorce with Kris. Kanye had recently made headlines for relocating his new office near Adidas in Hollywood.


Kim expresses her frustration, stating, "I don't want to be part of this narrative. When is this ever gonna end? It feels never-ending, and I'm stuck with this for the rest of my life." Overwhelmed, she confides her struggle.


While Kris acknowledges that she cannot control Kanye's actions, Kim emphasizes the impact on their four children—North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm. Kris emphasizes the tragic aspect of the situation, acknowledging that the children are affected as well. Tearfully, Kim admits that she feels compelled to protect her kids and not expose them to the truth. She adds, "It's really crazy."


In a vulnerable moment, Kim confides in Kris that if Kanye were to hit rock bottom, it would have to be a journey he embarks on alone, separate from her influence and support.
